Mind Unfolded Psychiatry
Understanding your mind, together
Pronouns: she/they
I’m a board-certified psychiatrist trained at Dartmouth and the National Institutes of Health (NIH), the nation’s largest clinical research hospital. I bring a trauma-informed, curious, and affirming approach to care—one that respects your lived experience and centers your goals.
I’m fascinated by the brain and passionate about helping you understand how yours works. With my scientific background and clinical experience, I can demystify your diagnosis, explain how medications and lifestyle changes work, and help you sort fact from fiction in online health information—so you can make informed choices and take charge of your mental health.
I welcome adults from all walks of life. While I have specialized expertise in LGBTQ+ mental health, the same affirming, respectful approach guides how I work with everyone. I work with adults who struggle with persistent worry, intrusive thoughts, low mood, difficulty managing stress, or complex medical and mental health challenges. I understand how identity, trauma, and systemic stressors can shape mental health, and I strive to create a space where you feel seen, heard, and supported—without needing to explain the basics of who you are.
Do you wonder:
– Why am I having trouble sleeping?
– How do I let go of intrusive thoughts?
– What does past trauma have to do with how I show up in relationships?
– Why is it so hard to get out of bed, even when I want to feel better?
I love exploring these questions with patients—compassionately, collaboratively, and without judgment. My goal is to help you feel understood and make meaningful progress toward your mental health goals.
